This App controls Blackmagic Design ATEM™ switchers from your Android device.

Supported units: ATEM Television Studio, ATEM 1 M/E, ATEM 2 M/E and Production Studio 4K.

Requirements: Minimum software program version 4.2 (Firmware 2.12)

Features:

  • All buttons are absolutely configurable with a protracted press:

    • phones: 14 buttons, 21 buttons elective on high resolution devices

    • tablets smaller than 10: 21 buttons, 28 buttons elective on high resolution devices

    • tablets with 10 and more: forty buttons

  • inputs: Every enter may be mapped to a button exhibiting its present state (preview, program or not used).

    • Some of those features can be found solely in the professional model that may be purchased via the App.

    METAControl requests these permissions:

    • 'full network access' is needed to speak with the switcher via community.

    • 'view network connections' is required to find out if the system is currently connected to any community.

    • 'modify or delete the contents of your USB storage' is currently unused however will present a method to retailer, import and export settings and macros.

    • 'modify system settings' is being used to control the WiFi power saving function. In order to properly obtain UDP packets in actual time which is necessary for the ATEM protocol.

    • 'stop device from sleeping' allows the App to maintain the screen on.

    • 'control vibration' enables haptic feedback when touching buttons on the display screen.
