Button Mapper: Remap your keys

Button Mapper makes it straightforward to remap custom actions to your quantity buttons and other hardware buttons. Remap buttons to launch any app, shortcut or customized motion with a single, double press or lengthy press.

Button Mapper can remap most bodily or capacitive keys and buttons, such as quantity buttons, some assist buttons, and capacitive residence, back and recent apps keys. Button Mapper can also remap buttons on many gamepads, remotes and other peripheral units.

Root is not required for most actions, nevertheless some require an adb command from a linked PC if not rooted. Button Mapper doesn't work when the display is off unless your device is rooted or you run an adb command.

Troubleshooting:

-Make positive Button Mapper accessibility service is enabled and allowed to run within the background

-Button Mapper doesn't work with onscreen buttons (such as soft keys or the navigation bar) or the power button.

-The choices shown in the app depend upon the buttons available in your cellphone. Not all phones have residence, again and recents buttons!

This app uses Accessibility services. Accessibility is used to detect when the bodily or capacitive buttons are pressed on your device to permit them to be remapped to customized actions to accommodate your wants. It isn't used to see what you sort. Button Mapper does not gather or share any of your personal data, it's secure and your privacy is revered.

This app makes use of the Device Administrator permission. (BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN)

This permission is used to lock the display if the Turn display off motion is chosen. If you want to remove this permission, open Button Mapper, click on on the menu (three dots within the upper right corner) and choose Uninstall
