PRTG for Android

PRTG for Android brings the ability of the PRTG Network Monitor interface to your Android 4.0 units. It requires a PRTG 14.1 or greater installation. If you encounter any bugs, please ship them to [email protected], as we're not notified of new feedback.
Features include:
• Full visibility into the state of your probes, groups, gadgets, sensors, and channels on multiple PRTG instances.
• Pause, acknowledge alarms, trigger scans, run system auto-discovery, and so on. You can do plenty of issues with the app that you could over the net interface or the Enterprise Console, with an interface tailored to your cell system.
• QR code scanning makes it simple to jump directly to a sensor.
• Enhanced notifications can (optionally) warn you in your device's standing bar when PRTG finds issues on your community.
• Home display screen widgets (available only on 4.1 or larger, sorry!) allow you to regulate your network with out the app operating in the foreground.
• Network instruments similar to ping, traceroute, and DNS lookups are included. We'll be including more in the future!
To use this app, you want to run an installation of PRTG Network Monitor 14.1 or later that's accessible from the community your system is linked to. If you do not have a PRTG Network Monitor put in, you can nonetheless attempt a demo account, and the network instruments are completely unbiased and do not require any PRTG server to function.

Required Permissions:
• INTERNET - Rather critical :-)
• CAMERA - Required for the QR scanner.
• WAKE_LOCK - Necessary for the alert functionality. Don't worry, we put plenty of effort into keeping our battery and community use as little as attainable.
• Notifications can optionally VIBRATE your telephone.
• We use ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and ACCESS_WIFI_STATE to verify if the web is on the market, and to discover out whether or not we should load giant graphs (we do not load them if you're on a mobile information network).
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is required to cache sure information.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED lets us set notifications again up after a reboot.
